The Power of Happiness

Hi everyone,

This is our first post of 2017, how’s everyone’s new year going so far?? I hope you’re all making progress towards all your goals and having an awesome year so far! I just finished a book called “Millionaire Success Habits” by Dean Graziosi, which a book I totally recommend you all to check out. It had some great content and lessons that I’ll be incorporating in my own life but the one chapter that stood out to me was the one about happiness. Dean talks about the importance of creating your own internal happiness, if we can find happiness on the inside, the things that we want are just that more obtainable. The next level of income, passion, true love etc may make us happy in that moment but it all goes away unless you learn how to create happiness within yourself. Dean talks about a list of ten specific habits and thought processes that he thinks are the quickest ways to happiness.

  1. Define what happiness looks and feels like to you.
  2. Make the present your friend
  3. Stop over-thinking
  4. Focus on a positive outcome
  5. Let go of specific outcomes
  6. Don’t be afraid to fail
  7. Let go of grudges
  8. Be grateful of what’s in front of you
  9. Don’t settle for “good enough”
  10. Be part of something bigger

So what do you think about these steps? Are you creating your internal happiness? Take a look at your own life and see if you’re creating your inner happiness. Questions you should constantly ask yourself…

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend filled with spending with loved ones and just enjoying what life has to offer! 🙂  This post is going to be a short one but it’ll make you think. These are questions you should ask yourself as much as possible, maybe on a daily basis if possible. It may question what you’re doing in your life now and perhaps you need to make some changes in order to move forward to reaching your goals. We are all people that are passion chasers, but it takes many steps to make our biggest goals come true.  It’s a process so let’s start with the 6 questions that you should always ask yourself:

  1. Who am I around?
  2. What are they doing to me?
  3. What have they got me reading?
  4. What have they got me saying?
  5. Where do they have me going?
  6. What do they have me thinking?

The last question you should ask yourself is: Is that okay? Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.  There is a saying that you’re the average of the 5 people you hang out with the most. I would say it’s true because if you want to be a business owner, you should be hanging out with entrepreneurs to pick their brains and have the support system because they want to see each other succeed! The people you hang out the most with should support you in your endeavors and there should no negativity.  Get out there and constantly ask yourself these questions, I think getting answers to these questions will only help you take that next step to accomplishing anything you want in this life and making positives changes will only aid you going forward! Habits!

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone had a great weekend and you are all recharged to take on a new week! I can’t believe its the last quarter 2016, this year went by so fast! I recently finished this book called “The Power of Habits, Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business” by Charlies Dubigg and there were a couple of things I took from reading this book that I wanted to share with you all. As you all probably know, habits are actions that people first decide to do deliberately and keep doing subconsciously. In order to achieve success in our lives, we must create good habits and become consistent in everything we do, making progress each day in and out. Having good habits, I think are the difference from the most successful people in the world versus the ones that just dream about their goals but don’t take any action to  make it all happen.

Another key takeaway are people can change their habits if they learn how their habits operate and there are three stages to a habit loop which are a “cue” propels a person into a “routine” to reach the goal of a “reward” Anyone that wants to change their happens must understand how their habits fit these habit loop stages that can help change their habits. Changing habits take time and a strategy, but it’s doable, it’s definitely a huge key to success. The fact that correcting habits is definitely hard and it’s because they fulfill cravings that demand satisfaction. But with anything in life, you can learn not to respond to a habit’s cue and rewards with the same routine. For example, the major key to the success of Starbucks is their training program for employees in their stores and creating habits for a great customer service experience with their guests. Their focus on this training is what propelled Starbucks into the company they are today.  Changing and getting rid of our habits requires getting out of our comfort zone, and everyone knows that staying in our  comfort zone does not get us anywhere.  I believe creating good habits will have also have a direct impact on our overall happiness as well.

Habits impact all our lives, but once you understand how they’re triggered, and how they can be changed, we can create good habits. Bad habits are just not good for us, and they hold us down in our journey to success, creating good habits a key to being successful in life. Seven Steps To Manifesting Your Goals

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone had a good start their week! I saw this post about the 7 steps to manifesting what you desire in your life and I just had to share it with you all!

  1. Vision: Visualize what you want
  2. Desire: Be intensely excited about you’re visualizing
  3. Belief: Believe what you desire is possible to manifest
  4. Acceptance: Accept your beliefs and your ability to manifest it as being true
  5. Intend: Want and intend are different. You must have the intention to manifest your dreams.
  6. Action: Act and behave like your desire has already manifested
  7. Allowance: Detach from the outcome. You have to be intense in your desire without any expectation that it manifest.

I think all these 7 steps are critical in accomplishing any major goal you have in life. Everyone has the potential to do whatever their heart desires but few take the steps to actually try to accomplish. We may fall flat on the ground and fail numerous times before succeeding but it’s all part of the journey. I feel like fear of failure is a major reason why people don’t even try reaching a big goal such as starting a business or trying something new. We must follow our gut feeling and take that risk. I know everyone on this planet has a purpose in life and I think if people took these these 7 steps, it will play a major part in accomplishing everyone’s greatest goals in life.  I believe in each and everyone of you and I hope this post will help you take that next step in accomplishing your goals! Take action or stay the same…

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone has a great weekend spent with family and friends, hopefully you guys are all recharged to take on the new week ahead of us! All of us have goals that we want to achieve, you want that promotion or raise at work, or you want to shed a few pounds to get ready for the summer, but one needs to have a plan to get there. A lot of us are lucky to have a great support group that surrounds us. Even with all that support, it’s really you that’s in the driver’s seat. It’s up to you to take action to make your ultimate dreams a reality!

Anything in this life is achievable, nothing is impossible. In order to achieve the big goals you have in your life, you need to step out of your comfort level. A cousin of mine, who happens to be the CEO of Live Fit Apparel, an active lifestyle apparel brand said “They say success changes you, but it takes change to be successful.” Life is all about taking chances and if you take consistent action, great things will happen to you. The key is to be consistent with whatever you do, and make progress. Remember that a habit can be changed in 21 days, you need to make changes to your daily routines, otherwise you’ll end being ordinary. We all have greatness within us, and we need to unlock it all. Why live an ordinary life instead of an extrordinary life? Don’t live a life with what if’s and regret, life’s too short for that. We all deserve a fulfilling life and I hope this post inspires you to get out there, take action, be consistent with it, and step outside your comfort zone!

Perspective!

Hey all,

I hope you’r having a great weekend so far, I just wanted to do a quick post about perspective. I saw this posted somewhere and I wanted to share it with you all! Here we go, I think you guys will like this post. 🙂 Here we go…

  1. If you woke up this morning, you still have a purpose to fulfill.
  2. Being grateful for everything throughout the day will allow you to see clearer.
  3. If it’s all in your head, then you might as well spend the time having good thoughts.
  4. It may take you a bit longer, but if you’re happy with the process and you love yourself, than your success is inevitable.
  5. You’re beautiful no matter what they say.
  6. Never compare your journey to others, everyone has their unique story, so just keep on writing yours…

Are you feeling stuck with your career maybe or just life in general? Not taking risks or saying no to opportunities that scare you? You’re the only person that can change your life to live a happier life. Life is all about trail and errors, if you have a gut feeling, you should really try to follow it with any opportunity that might come your way!. As the Apple cofounder, visionary, and CEO Steve Job once said,  “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Each person was put on this earth for a reason and that’s really the only way you can be happy with your life is if you can find your true purpose in life. It may take a long time, but it’s the journey we all go through.

I truly believe in the belief if you work really hard at something you really want, the universe will conspire with you to make it all happen. Nothing in life is handed to you, you have to work hard to get “lucky.” What are you doing today or tomorrow to make your dreams a reality? You must take the step to find what makes your soul happy. Finding your purpose is the first step and I can honestly say the most successful people are the ones that found their purpose in life.

3 Simple Steps to Create Change Today

I wanted to write this blog post due to more of a pet peeve than anything. Far to many times people wait until its too late to create a positive change. The story presented is that they will start on Monday, or on New Years Day, or after my birthday. So what’s the problem if they have a plan? Below are three simple steps to create a change the right way, right now.

1. Create a Plan

Sit down and outline exactly what you are looking to change. The first step to any improvement is to identify the problem and expose it. What is wrong and what can improve? What does your ideal state look like in 30, 60, 90 days? Do you need help, if so from who? Do not be embarrassed or scared, everyone has challenges. Remember, you could have a problem with a product you are ready to release, a drug problem, a eating disorder, financial problems…Your problems are no different than your bosses or your role model. There is no reason why you cannot create an impact on your life. No EXCUSE.

2. Start Now

Wait, like right now? YES! This very second… you have just started your plan whether you like it or not. Are you looking to quit smoking cigarettes? Guess what, you just did and you will not have one more..You will not quit after this pack. Get up right now and throw them away. This is the MOST IMPORTANT step. If you wait for 5 minutes you are already failing yourself. Is your “problem” different from someone else? NOPE, drop what you are doing and fix it now. The element of change does not exist by waiting. Change happens when you allow it to and its happening now.

3. Evaluate & Measure

Evaluate what you are doing and measure the success. Is there something you can do different to create a larger positive impact? This is a great time to evaluate your plan and identify if you are meeting your goals. Along with that, re-plan for your next goals. Measure and execute.

Get out there and make a difference today. Remember you put your pants on the same way as everyone else and can do anything you set your mind to.

3 Simple Points Why it is Important to Stand Out from the Crowd

In any aspect of life, it is best to be as unlike other people as possible. This seems like a difficult concept to swallow because in our society we “admire” and “idolize” people as a way of flattery. There comes a time when you have to stop looking to celebrities and “role models” to shape yourself and you have to just start looking to yourself. Everyone is constantly looking for the new trend, the best diet, the “secret” to a happy life, etc. I believe the best way to do that for yourself is to look in the mirror: are you just like everybody else or are you striving to be different and make your own path?

Why its okay to be different from the majority:

Trying to be something you are not is exhausting.

To be honest, I am not quite sure how some people do it. Buying the “Kylie Jenner” lip kit or starting the “It Works!” diet plan… Sounds expensive! All of the time that you put into trying to be like someone else can be put into something better; creating a better version of YOU. Instead of getting the “It Works!” diet plan to fix what you don’t like about yourself, think about something you DO like about yourself and love on that! Praise yourself and fuel you soul with positivity.

There is no one else in the world like you.

Literally NO ONE. Your exact hair, personality, smile, ears, toes, voice, taste, opinion… Not one single person in the world has all that you have. When you really pause and reflect on who you are, it is pretty rad to think about just how unique you are. Take a look at yourself in the mirror right now. All of those features you have are unique to you: EMBRACE THEM!

It pays to be different.

Doing something out of the ordinary and not on the side of majority can have some really negative effects at first. If you decide you want to start a new budget so you can save money to pay off loans or buy a house, people will criticize you. “Why would they do that?” you say… Well because they wont understand why you “don’t go out as much anymore” or you “are not enjoying life”. I can promise you that whatever change you are making in your life to better yourself or to follow a different path than the norm is going to help you. In the end you will know that you did everything you did to make yourself the very best version of you.

While following along with the latest trends and happenings is the easier route to take; it wont be the best. If at this moment you feel like you are just “following” I need you to do something right now: Think about something about yourself that is unique. It can be anything; a physical feature, a belief, an idea, a talent, etc. and write down why that one thing helps you be you. Writing things down is the best way to make an impact. Write down how this one thing POSITIVELY effects your life & helps you be you.

Really though…. Everyone else is taken, just be you.
