How to Overcome Anything
Life has many tragic, unexpected, and painful events. As the saying goes, it’s a part of life. When you want to move on, follow these simple steps to overcome anything.
1. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
Buddhist wisdom says pain and suffering is not caused by the event itself but by the feelings we get when we resist accepting the event as reality. Accept there exist events beyond your control and accept liberation from the burden of oppressive emotions.
2. The courage to change the things I can
You can change you. Nothing and no one else. If you wish to be happy, become that change and welcome it back into your life.
3. And the wisdom to know the difference.
Talk, share, and acknowledge your feelings to bring clarity to your conflicts.
