Follow Fear and Find Your Purpose In Life.
I subscribe to the brilliant blog posts of Mr. Seth Godin, instigator of doing work that matters in the world. His books focus on pushing you to do work and “ship” as he calls it. As an entrepreneur and visionary I often find myself faced with multiple projects with equal opportunity for growth. Doing multiple projects well is nearly, if not totally, impossible, so I decided to ask Mr. Godin what he does in this situation.
“When in doubt, look for the fear.”
This reminds me of the wisdom from Marriane Williamson when she said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.”
Don’t minimize fear, embrace it, and welcome it as your north star for finding purpose in your life. The challenge is now clear: instead of running from fear, do you have the courage to embrace it?
