3 Steps to Trade Anxiety and Depression for Peace
1. Take Your Pulse
Just like a doctor takes your pulse to gauge your heart rate take your emotional pulse, throughout the day. To take your emotional pulse ask yourself: Am I depressed, anxious, or at peace?
2. Acknowledge your Feelings
If you are anxious or depressed, accept this is how you feel and don’t try to fight it. You are not suffering because you are feeling this way, instead you are suffering because you are resisting your feelings.
3. Commit to Right Here, Right Now
Now that you know and have accepted how you are feeling right now, you can welcome the next moment with calmness and peace knowing you are living in the present.
